Meet the Principal

Welcome to Bonham Elementary!

My name is Kimberly Spurgers, and I am honored to serve as the Interim Principal at Bonham Elementary. Throughout my career in education, I have had the privilege of serving students, staff, and families in a variety of roles, including teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, and principal.

Prior to joining Bonham, I served as a principal in San Angelo ISD, leading Holiman Elementary for two years and San Jacinto Elementary for twelve years. Most recently, I worked at the district level as the Director of District Behavior Support, creating systems for student and campus success across the district.

I am passionate about creating a positive, supportive learning environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and empowered to succeed. I firmly believe that all students are capable of achieving amazing things, and I look forward to partnering with our families, staff, and community to help every child reach their full potential.

I am excited to be a part of the Bonham family and look forward to a wonderful year of learning and growth together.
